E16se mystery hole

Can anyone tell me what the hole in the head under the dizzy is for? Coolant related if that helps . Just a sensor? It's blanked off at the moment

If its blanked off then it's not an e16se head.

Cheers, I blanked it off because I didn't realise it was coolant related, thing got messy really quick lol. Not running ecu so will just bang a bolt in it then

one of these normally goes in the hole : (for the ecu. n/a with carbs)

Yeah that's the one, got a wheel bolt in it at the mo lol

Nope! There is the hole for the oil, what goes to the camshaft and to the hydraulic tapets. I have here oil pressure sensor.

i dont think the E16's have these temperature control sensors ?

so its probably a C16 head.
there very similar heads tho.
