how the hell do you get this bugger out ?
ive tried hitting it repeatedly, wont budge an inch.
im failing massively with a g-clamp, trying to press the pin out, and everything falling on the floor continually. need an extra 4 hands for that one i think.
any advice ?
Why do you need to remove it? Are the bearings shot? If so you are better off trying to find a replacement dizzy, plenty on eBay.

trying to fix an issue with the advance/retard mechanism, plus its choked up with dried oil, and could do with a thorough clean.
cant afford a new one.

the first ones for a 1.4, and the seconds ones not compatible with carb cars
might be able to get a 1.4 working if i removed the ball bearing thing from the end of the cam, but not sure if it comes out.
ive given up trying to get the drive dog out, the end is slowly get mashed up. it doesnt wanna come out, so ill leave it be.

looks very similar, but its not the same that one.
ive bought one by accident in the past.
it was advertised as a nova item, but turned out to be the ecu controlled advance/retard model that came in the 16SV's.
they dont have the bob weights inside, nor the vacuum unit, and have a bunch of extra wires, instead of just the pink and black block connector.
