iv just bought a set of gaz coilovers and the bodies are a bit corroded and one of the rear dampers is stiff even with it being backed off on the adjustment with no spring fitted.

can you buy a rebuild kit of do gaz do a overhaul service with possible new bodies?

also i was planing on turreting the rear of my nova to give better clearance with the added section to the beam. has anybody done it and able to advise me of the best way with maybe some pics?

thanks

Gaz do a full rebuild service, give them a ring...

Yeah good service from Gaz. Recently had all four of mine overhauled with new pistons in the front for a reasonable price. They clean up the threads and paint them up too.

Will phone them when I get a min but looks promising.

What peoples thought on turrets and beam?

Plenty of pics of turreting in the WIP threads.

Many people that cant fabricate their own turrets use off the shelf RWD Escort ones readily available, & cut/adapt them to fit. You just cut away the inner arch to make room for welding in the new turrets. Calculate the new 'top mount' height carefully or you'll end up with a car that goes too low or sits too high.

Craig, raising the shock top up an inch or 2 wouldn't affect them at all they would it? I dont think it will but want thoughts..
