Shaft lengths - big block equal length

After some info, can someone please provide me the exact length of the driveshafts to suit a big block equal length conversion on a Nova?

Are you wanting a dead accurate measurement? If so I can do this tomorrow at work. If just with a tape I can get you a size later tonight when I'm home.

I wouldn't hold your breathe mate I've been trying to get a set off him for over a year lol. Pretty sure he doesn't make them anymore but won't admitt it lol.

Sorry Iain, I thought with them being "equal length" they would have been the same size lol I never bothered to open the boxes my shafts were in until today lol

short shaft - 12.161"
long shaft - 16.489"

Don't suppose you have a short shaft for sale if your gonna a have a brand new set made?
I have a pair of old Chris Astley equal shafts on currently but there's too much play on the splines for my liking hence looking for alternatives. Wouldn't really feel comfortable selling them.

Thinking of getting a pair of GM ones shortened and sleeved and see how I get on with those.

LMF sell them all Rob but don't have any shorts in at the mo.

I am interested. Current backburner plan is to have some cut and welded shorter but one obviously prefer some one piece items.

You got all the tooling to machine some up, harden them etc then?

Yeah, I'll hardness test my ones tomorrow and need to workout the cutter size for the splines. Then just a case of finding time really.

I made a start today Iain I've done the turning won't manage to get the milling done until I'm on nightshift (next week) as the tooling I require is on a machine that's being used during the day.
