Ok fitted the above but the tensioner is on the old cast alloy mount so that's not an option
so what's the options fashion a standard type adjuster and run small belt or is there another option

i never got round to it myself before i sold the engine, but knocking up an adjuster bar seemed like the best option to me.

ive heard people say allsorts of belt lengths from 870 to 890 mm. if you do it that way, youll have to measure the pulleys with a piece of string and order a suitable belt, i think there PK6 on those

I just used a Nova SRi bottom pulley and Nova alternator and used the Nova belt single V belt. But I don't have aircon, PAS etc. Just botttom pulley to alternator and adjust/tension it by the alternator.

Ye have no. Of them also but there is no tensioner on the ault so need to fashion one up but it's not running yet till it is that can wait a bit

haha oomski, i know its your first post, but were talking about alternator belts here lol
made me laugh anyway :)

start a thread in the wanted section, titled gsi interior, and im sure youll get some replies there.

back on topic lol this is sorted now got tensioner bracket from x14xe with eps as my motor must have had hydrologic or aircon all is good
