Easliy could could to 7j, maybe 8j on the rears with stretched tyres

I don't like the staggered look. what's a health sized tyre to stretch on 7j then?

195 will give you a flush look, 185 is one profile below what they should be, 175 will give you more strech. personally i'd go 185

+1.5" so 7J would look nice on those I reckon.

You can push to 7.5j on the rear with some minimum arch rolling and around 80mm lowering max

I don't think you will get the best results with that design of wheel.

Why?

Because the pressed spokes take up most of the standard dish so even banded I do not think would give a nice dished rim.

i dont wanna sound like an arsehole TJ, but i have to say it, for the sake of your wallet and possible dissapointment. ive heard a lot of people in the vaux community slag these wheels off for not suiting anything, and personally i think there horrible wheels. they dont even seem to work on the mk.3 astra's they came on.
again im not trying to be nasty, just being honest, and i dont want you to throw loads of money at them, getting them cut & shut modified with expensive rubber, and then them not suiting the saloon.

Guess i will have to see how opnion is split once ive had then done. im not easily swayed by popular opnion tbh not everybody will like everything you do to or with a car. the only real opnion that matters are the ones of the people that own the motor :)

You won't be able to band them as the spokes come out onto the face of the rim unless you have them cut flush and welded to inner part of the rim.
