gear selection on f28?

done up all my gear linkage and cut an 1" out of it, 2,3,4,5,6 are easy to get but 1st is a tad harder once it goes in once it goes in every time is this coz the boxs is not spinning or do i need to faf about with the linkage?

Drive it and see Dan i think thats the only way you will find out if it goes into 1st ok. Rick
