Check 'chris's 88 merit' and 'Emma second time round' threads in projects as they've both done this in the last week mate.
Good to see another north yorks lad on the board too ;)

the best one's ive seen have been bashed in with a lump hammer lol
If your alternator is hitting your inner wing you have fcuking serious problems lol
Its the chassis leg you need to "adjust"
There is effectively 3 methods
1, bash seven shades of sh1t out of it with a large hammer, it will look terrible
2, gently heat the chassis leg and hammer it gently into shape
3, cut out a notch and reweld
Plenty of examples on here if you search for chassis leg mod

I cut the flat top area and remove a small section then use a bit of timber and a bottle jack and press it over warming it a little also far tidyer than smashing seven bells of ****e out of it then just weld up the top edge then simples ! Will try get a pic of the last one I did

Millions of pics on here.
I gotta cut a huge box bit cut and welded in i think looks utter sh^te. Heated and tapped in looks much nicer. Or cut just side and flex in, welded at the top so it can't be seen.
