F20 Gearbox level check

How do i check the oil level in my f20?

Can they leak oil from the driveshaft bits?

If the oil does leak and the level gets low..will the gearbox get noisey/whiney ?

im not 100% sure where it is on the f20's, but theres an oil level bung you can unbolt, on the lower half of the gearbox, to check the level.

the cars gotta be on level ground to get an accurate check.

you fill it slowly untill you start to get drips out of that bung hole.

i think the f20 fill point is the same as most, ontop of the gear selector mechanism, theres a bolt on the topside you can take out, to fill into.

Still no sign of the oil pump so I thought I should check the gearbox whilst I am waiting............

watch out, if the cars jacked up on one end it will piss out all over the place, lol
