Ok, so I have a c20xe engine, got full r1 bike carb kit, but I want to use megajolt ignition. But I have a problem with the coil pack, as the original coil pack is different, does anyone know where to get a coil pack blanking plate and is that all that is needed thank you

Not sure on the blanking plate as most use the early cav 1.6 dizzy setup, this may also be worth a read though:

Also pm Tom Reid off here as he may be able to help more on the subject.

When I ran throttle bodies on my xe I had a mate machine me blank plates from alloy, you put a drill bit in the nd of the cam hole the saw it of with a hack saw, then just silicon seal the blank cap on.

Just about make it out under the coil pack.

Yes before converting to tbs, as I say dizzy of Block the cam hole with a drill bit or anything that fits lol and get a alloy cover made, probably cost £10 from a machine shop.

SBD Motorsport sell one off the shelf if you are feeling lazy and don't want to make one.

As Scott says an engine bay oil leak and it also looks cool ;)

Alternatively you could source one of the late DIS Pack cam blank covers which are very OEM in there appearance.
