I was out in my RS Escort today and had a good laugh on the back roads.
I never felt the need to participate in organised street racing or do any (boring fwd) burnouts, mind.
I never do, was first and last time. In fact no more fast cars for me hence why I sold it and getting rid of all my car bits.

Most have but there are still a few kicking about, I went to the Paul Walker meet/cruise thing they did at Santa Pod at the start of the year. I spotted 2 Novas which were both owned by Chavs. Just before I left one of them was revving their little 1.2 Carb engine and switching it off/back on to make the exhaust pop lol

That's the thing with RWD, if you loose the tail just drift and maintain your dignity. If you loose the tail in FWD you end up in the wall/ditch lol

FWD takes no skill. If it starts to understeer on you, come off the power and reel it back in.
No doing that with a frisky, proper wheel drive motor. lol
