i dont have a boot light, and want one.
i popped open the n/s/r hatch door and stuck my arm through the hole to have a feel about.
i found a red wire with spade connector on, like the boot lights normally use, but only that 1 wire, no second black.
i havent checked the red wire for voltage yet, but am i right in thinking that the black wire that isnt there, normally comes from the tailgate switch that i dont have ?
if so, i think ill fit a toggle switch.
