View Full Version : mk1 rebuild
Hi everyone I've got a 1988 mk1 nova merit not the best of models but it's got a solid shell and 24k genuine miles so it's a great starting point first time I had a good look over the car and I'm still in shock now 26 yrs old and not a single bit of welding needed.
Right down to the more interesting bits my intentions:
Well after lots and lots of discussion and thinking mostly done in the pub or after a few to many beers I've decided to do a nova sport rep now let me clear this up first it will not be anywhere near the standards of what most of you would call a genuine or nova rep due to money and lack of knowledge so please do be kind :)
So the shell has been sprayed sport white and is ready to put back together I was wanting to put the 1.3 sr engine in but after been offered a full saab 2.0 turbo set up for £110 yes I did steal it off him for that I've changed my mind so fabrication will now need to be done before fitting I hope to have the car out on the road next summer but I will keep you all posted :)
Does anybody know how to post pictures
Cheers liam
