Well finally after years and years of wanting I finally have a yellow sr
this is my second yellow sr. But my other one was yellow with blue details and was originally red

this car is well known on here and I will add the link to johns build to keep the history all in one place

so will add some pics and some more details later on

Thanks mate it's had repairs done that's just paint from welding on insides there going to bare metal tomorrow and then started a fresh from there

Plans at the min are just to get shell ready for paint and look at how I'm gona build it up as I want to use the car and that's not ideal with the brown interior so thinking I may shelve that for now I will know more today

the yellow blue one was well before 2001 there was 2 round here one was blue with yellow bits mine was yellow with blue bits and was past it's best when I had it

Unfortunatly the welding is not finished yet but not far off go over some of the repairs, some new ones then it can be off for paint then

Fingers crossed dude you manage a dam good job on this, you know I love these cars, I'm torn on the fact I have mine, as missed out on one twice same car 10 years apart, that why sometimes I wish I had sold mine and had cash waiting for another to pop up...

Anyway, good luck on the build, and from our phone conversation, the colour looks right on the boot bonnet in that pic in a garden, but you have the code etc, it will look different with the car built and vynal on etc.

Picked this up so been busy striping it shame but it's truly rotted but bares fruit as it's not been striped before so all the them little bits that are hard to find I now have spare for the re build

Thanks for the comments made a start on the arches today should have the welding boxed off tomorrow if I get chance will get more pics then fixed some more incomplete repairs that I uncovered so good things come from bad sometimes

I will get the shell on the spit then get the underside finished then the bay

No mate been mad busy working and the painter doing the car is Ill, has been for weeks now and had other cars to sort out but will have some progress to report soon on this and other projects still looking for some seats also

IMO Jamaican Yellow early SR's are the best colour you can get for a nova, good luck with the project I shall be keeping an eye on this :thumb:

No updates cars still dry stored been getting a few parts ready nice f10 with LSD and interior sorted out plus wheels are done ready to fit just the rest of the car to do now
