Single wiper conversion

Was told by a mate that there an mot failure now? Will check tomorrow with a tester at my work but first I've head of it. While I'm in the topic anyone know a decent arm to use for a wiper conversion as I'll probably do it anyway haha

Surly that's bull****? Mine had a single wiper and passed it's mot's no problem with it.

Edit: just realised you said it's a failure *now* but still surly not?

Some cars have a single wiper as std, its probably a failure if it is parked accross the screen. If it sits down in the scuttle when parked it's probably not.

I had mine fail a long time ago due to it parking to the off centre towards the drivers side. once parked to the passenger side it was fine.

Hope not my second wiper hole is welded up lol Can't imagine it being tbh as long as the sweep is good and it's parked out the way.

It's only on central parked position I believe.
But like most things down to the testers discretion imo.
