Radiator problem on SRi.

Hey guys...

Came me home from work today and noticed wet patch under Nova.. Sourced it down to top of radiator where pipe from coolant tank is..

i noticed that that it had been leaking so further inspection the actuall metal tube / stud that flexible hose goes over has fell out of the radiator.. Is there any fix or is it a case a new radiator?

You could try fix it but I'd just buy a new one. It's better to spend £50 for peace of mind then have the repair fail and cause damage.

Looks like somebody has bodged it before. Get a new one.
New Valeo rads are still available at motorfactors for about £70-80.

Yeah I just took the hose right off and noticed its defo been bodged before.. Looks like some sort of glue.

Sweet mate thanks al get hunting tonight.

It's going in for some welding and body in a few weeks. Hopefully get that sorted then paint time

i think that's the one. I bought one about 6 months ago but can't find the receipt to see how much it was....
pit was similar price from memory.
anyone care to add?

think this is the one I got for my 1300. Still the same.
just make sure you get the longer one.

Go for Valeo if you can afford a bit extra. They were the OE fitment.
