If my piston says +0.50 on it am I right in thinking it needs .50 oversized rings?

Yeah, almost everything is imperial, well all the stuff we deal with are which is mostly drilling equipment. Very rarely do we have a drawing in metric and if it is itl be done my some monkey that hasn't done it correctly!
