Hi all. Iv had some problems with my xe idling, I went to replace the coolant temp sensor and there is a small blue wire not connected to anything. I can't for the life of me think where it could go :S

It is attached to the wires that plug into the cts and pic below...

Small blue, should have a spad terminal on it and be connect to the temp sender on the thermostate housing.

which will give you a temperature reading on the dash.........

I already have something connected to that which is giving me a reading :S that's worrying!!!

Right so the reason I hae a different wire connected to the temp sender is because I used the one off the nova loom not the xe loom....

Well that should still work, as you'd have joined them up.
