Why do you want bigger bearings?

Bigger brakes can be had with standard hub carriers

Any particular reason why you'd want bigger bearings? You can machine the standard knuckles for larger bearings (vw etc) but unless its for a big spec let, wouldn't bother

If you want bigger bearings you can get the standard hubs machined out to take Mk2 Golf Synchro 4x4 rear wheel bearings which fit the standard Astra/Cavalier flanges , without having to machine them (and possibly weaken then)

This is assuming you want to run big block conversion shafts.

As Johnny said you can get some pretty big brakes on the standard hubs - I run 308mm's on the front but you make even get 321mm Vectra C GSI discs on too.

I've got to replace both bearings I'm running v6 cav brakes but running 200+bhp through bearings designed for a 1.2 60 bhp car doesn't equate to common sense to me

Its not the power through the bearings that knacker them, its the lateral loads that they take when cornering hard or doing a track day.

At 200+ bhp I assume you have a C20LET or a highly tuned C20XE either way you will have some conversion shafts - so its down to which flanges you are running - machined Astra/Cav ones or standard Nova ones on tapered shafts.

If you are killing bearings every few months, then yeah, look at bigger/improved ones... but if you arent, then I wouldnt bother
