Vauxhall Nova 2dr saloon rolling shell project, £750, Essex.

After much deliberation i've decided i sadly don't have the time to have this as a project anymore and feel perhaps someone else'd give it the love that i can't because of moving away for college


The car is sold as a standard spec rolling shell, but includes the engine
everything i have taken off is included.


So the spec follows:
currently registered as sorn,
993cc on logbook,
70k genuine miles,
3 previous Owners from new,
Sadly no service history,
green cheq interior,
brown carpets,
rear seatbelts fitted,
Brown sport dash with vent, clock and cigarette blanks


The shell it's self:
-Includes :
2x brand new sills
2x new rear arches
2x new front wings
1x new battery tray


It also comes with a second interior from an A reg hatch, which is green everything!! carpets, dash the works,
so between both interiors included you could mix and match to make what you want :)


and the rust on the shell-
it's good for it's age baring in mind it's a nova.
ive had alot worse turn up at my workshop to collect parts while still roadworthy!!
needs abit of welding on the p/s sill,
small bit on the cross brace behind the valance under the radiator,
a small hole in the battery tray,
headlight areas sorting,
tiny hole in d/s door apart from that the doors are solid!
the rear arch to boot pannels on both sides.
Any other rust is purely surface and has been rust treated
I HAVE LISTED ALL THE RUST AREAS THAT REALLY NEED SOME KIND OF ATTENTION JUST SO YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR LOOKING AT.


This is sold as a rolling shell project, with no engine, although i do still have the gearbox and a few odd bits,
it will be on standard suspension and some 13" steels i have laying around

Bump, sadly really need this gone, house was flooded the other week and we've been told we have to move out for 6 months while repair work is carried out so majorly need the space for storage...

Hahaha no thanks mate, there is more than that in new pannels alone, I'd rather find somewhere to keep the at for another 3 years!, I still have them dan, although I only ever had 2 I picked up as they are very very rare!!

I payed more than all of those prices for each of the pannels, there's no point in continuing this particular discussion, I would never take that little money for it, I would rather just keep it! Yes I would accept a close offer to what I am asking or may consider selling with only one interior or whatever. And I'll let you know if it ever comes to that dan :)

I only say this because although everyone creates a massive hype over mk1 saloons and shouts how much they want one etc, nobody actually wants to part with cash..
My saloon was in similar or better condition with a running 993cc in it, all I got on here was crap over it being over priced and was only worth £200 etc.. But I knew it was worth more, it sold on eBay in the end for £660 (iirc as it a while back)
So I'm not saying that the cars not worth it, just you may sell it for what you want if it's all complete etc, but I would also use eBay dude :thumb:

I think £300 is a fair price atm, build it back up and get it running and you should get £500-600 for it, I do like the car though and the colour is great and pretty rare. Its just a shame it needs panels and a respray. Maybe try ebay.
