Hi chaps bored so thought i would start a build thread. Right a lot of you may know this car as per John H and Adam owning it. Anyway Adam last used it in 2010 iirc and parked it up and it has sat on his moms drive ever since. So we decided on a price and i went and picked it up.
The car was already c20xe converted and prepped for a track day...cage coilovers etc etc. Have had some issues already though lol Mostly due to it being stood for a few years but since im a "drag boi" decided i didn't fancy building another V6 so decided on the Turbo route. So started collecting some bits for the conversion, sorted a rebuilt C20LET engine off Steveboyslim on Migweb, universal front mount, LMF big block hubs, Griffin Autosport equal length shafts,Magnex exhaust, TX autosport 2.25 boost pipe kit and x2 reducers for tophat and turbo. So i have since fitted the engine shafts hubs etc etc new brake pads cleaned and greased all rear bearings,shoes,drums. Fitted a new in tank MPI pump as the original one died. I have also just changed the full car loom as wanted to start a fresh with wiring etc. Modified the exhaust downpipe and the front panel for the intercooler but tbh it looks **** but it will do for now, im looking into replacing the crossmember as its abit crusty over winter!

Anyway it just needs the dash putting back in now and then wiring up and its good to go!

Just clocked 250 mile in it and yeah seems to pull really well although haven't fully give it beans yet, seems to idle abit lumpy though and seems hesitant till warm? Running RS Turbo plugs gapped to 0.6 and totally stock engine

Alright chaps aint updated this for ages! Well the cars been on the road now for 700ish miles but the KKK was smoking so I have taken it off the road to do some upgrades including a tubular manifold that's needed a bit of work to fit it as the flange angle is slightly wrong so i have had to use a flange to space it out. Then i have sourced a Volvo T5 240bhp TD04 16T Turbo with a cossie -31 actuator modified to run with the adjusted compressor housing. The TD04 However fouls on the block again due to the flange angle of the manifold so i have turned it around so that the compressor/air filter side is now on the passenger side. I have some ARP rod bolts and will be hopefully purchasing some Evo 5 chips along with uprated fuel pressure hoping for a good steady 300bhp. I had it RR at a local place with the KKK still on and it ran 215bhp @ flywheel so all seems healthy showing slightly rich 10.9 on WOT on the wideband. Then fit the nitrous and hit the strip!

I have also decided to Fit a SR grill and Bumper rear wraparound spoiler plan is to sort the rear arches over the summer and maybe a paint job!
