1.2 camshaft

a friend of mine has a 1.2 corsa and needs a new camshaft he got a replacement off another corsa with a coil pack when he has gone to fit it and it has a ball bearing in the end can this be removed some how

Yes but not easily. Its easier to grind about 5mm off the distributer drive. It's a bodge but it will work.
