Looking at replacing the e16se in my nova with a z16se ( as the rings have gone. if i use the e16se manifold/injectors/maf/etc. will i be able the use the e16se ecu?

Just switch the bottom end. Mixing ECU's with looms/sensors isnt going to work. You list three engines in your thread.

Yeah sorry i meant to put z16se in the title...the x16xe is 16v just got confused. I read somewhere that thet z16se is just a facelifted c16se/e16se so i should be able to use the e16se inlet, cam, cam cover, dizzy, airflow meter, injectors etc. aswell as the e16se ecu and loom. Anyone know if the sensors/sensor holes are the same?

Yes the sensor holes are the same. You can also use on the x16xe, but need some remap. It works.

If it's just the rings why not replace them and hone the bores ?
