Nova 1.6 piston rings

Getting my bottom end re bored to take some GTE piston but I can't find a supplier for e16se rings (as one is snapped) are the newer 8v engines the same like the z16se etc.

Never had problem getting ring sets for them matey. Autovaux not do them?

Ill be honest I've only looked on the net and auto six don't list anything. While I'm on I've just had a look at removing the 1.6 rods from the pistons, the grudion pins are all fixed to the rod and the pin won't slide are they pressed in??

The pins are an interference fit into the rods, even the pro's can mess this up when attempting to remove/refit them.

Cheers Tom I got impatient early and started trying to take the rods off and tyres heating the rod thinking they had seized on ill take it to a machine shop and see if I can get it pressed off
