Ive got a policy on my old nova sr which I want cancelled.
Ive filled in the form, but cannot get through to the helpdesk at CIS.
Have any of you guys tried to cancel your policies?
Do they charge anything?
How long do they take to cancel them?

The form I filled in was one telling my bank to stop direct debits, but it had an option on it to tick for cancerling of the insurance, which i ticked.
Did I do it right?

If any of you know and can let me know - its appreciated.

I asked to stop my premium with them and they said that i would have to pay half the outstanding balance. I'm sticking with them until March (when it runs out), then going with Fluxy !!

I was with CIS, they were gonna charge me 1k for my GTE!
I just rang my local office and they sorted it out, I didn`t have to pay anything after that date (it was a Direct Debit monthly). You should tell your bank to stop the DD but get in touch with CIS or they`ll charge you big time!

What is it with insurance companies?

GSi Boys talks about going with Adrian Flux (who else would Fluxy be ?), but I was quoted over ?550 with them, but got my insurance for ?250 from Performance Direct!

My mate John, used to be with CIS on his MKI Fiesta. They were fine, until he had to make a claim - it wasn't even his fault, and he was just notifying them, but it still took weeks to sort out.

He's currently got a MKIII XR3i, and his insurance is cheaper with Adrian Flux, than his quote from Performance Direct!

It seams you have to choose the insurance company, depending on what car you drive!
Anyone else had this?

Last year i payed ?1200 on a 90 Uno Turbo, with a few mods, through Fluxy. They wanted ?1450 on me GTE. I got it down to ?600 wiv HIS. You just have to shop around.
