MYSTERY car won't start anymore 1.2i 1992

Basically nova kept cutting out when driving, gradually getting worse and taking about ten-20 mins of turning over to eventually fire, would run and sometimes cut out again. Now won't start at all! I have tried changing distributors and coils, has live to coil and sparks when ignition is turned on but doesn't spark when the engine is turning over.. Someone must know what the f&*k is wrong , Very wierd! Cheers all!

Take the cap off does the rota arm turn on cranking the dizzy sometimes snaps the turning pin so no spark

Is the fuel pump actually pumping fuel up to the engine ok 2

Dizzy is fine and fuel pump is pumping fine

When it does eventually fire up does to run ok, have you double checked engine timing (cam belt)

I've got live from the coil on ignition but when trying to turn over nothing, it did start an when it did it ran fine but now won't start at all

Ignition switch on the end of the barrel?

Sorted it mate, ends up the ecu decided to fry itself! New ecu and fixed!
