biggest vauxhall engine with a carb?

Has any one got any ideas? I thought it was the big block 1.8 8v with varijet carb:roll: could the inlet marry up to a 2.0 8v ?.Is any one running/had one in there nova/cavalier or mk1 astra?

vauxhall viva did a 2.3 twin carb.
i think they released a few hefty models too, with a v8 in.

possibly other vauxhalls/opels had it too.

wait for someone else to confirm, but i think the 1.8 and 2.0 8v share the same inlet dimensions

I am thinking of going down this route 8v.s just look at home in a nova. Still my 1.6 is nippy for what it is!
