Hi could anyone tell me the size of the hole/grommet of the main wiring loom in the engine bay behind the passenger side strut. I've welded mine up but now need to drill the hole to re route it.

Thanks Ben.

Well, i drilled a 52mm hole as it was the only saw i had close. The grommet was too loose, but wouldn't push through. Luckily i had to run an auxilary loom through there too for my tacho so sectioned another grommet and glued it in to make the whole thing bigger. Now fits nicely.

Hopefully someone will come along with an exact measurement.

Be advised there are two hole sizes. The early loom uses a smaller hole.

Car loom by the sounds of it, being behind passenger strut

Sorry didn't see that, the look it's self isn't that big. It's just the GM gromit that is huge. I binned the gromit and used a smaller one. Much easier.

Looms maybe 27-30mm. Find a better smaller gromit.
