How many are left? Is it worth keeping standard i have one which has only 47000 on it and one owner. But tempted to change bits on it. What you think??

Are you actually going to be using the car, or just sticking it in the garage/shed and do 100 miles a year?

If the former, mod it. Standard Novas are crap lol
If the latter, assuming its rust free and in good nick, keep it standard.

Lol wanted to check cos i had a 1 litre nova which had less spec than the merit and wanted to see wether its worth modding or keeping standard, as there arnt many novas in origianal condition.

I have just picked up a 1 owner from new B plate 1.2 Swing with 25k miles on the clock. That will be staying standard, and I will do approx 500miles a year in it.

It is in great condition and although a low spec worht keeping original as not many left now.

Thats what i thought as many novas have been changed and not many standard anymore. Gonna mint it up and keep the milage of it me thinks.

It was, and it is mint! Needs a little paint work but the interior is like brand new and no rust or rot anywhere. Garaged all it's life, every mot, original keys etc. right gem.
