underbonnet wax oil removal

Help! I am struggling to remove wax oil under the bonnet on my white nova. Its been on since new i have tried the following:

Tar and glue
Tfr
Thinners
White spirit

I have had a bit of joy with soaking it in carb cleaner but its taking a long time. I ve done the drivers side but got the passenger side to do which has alot of hard to reach areas. Anyone know what else i can try? :confused:

Wd40 or a steam cleaner or hair dryer.

Worth a punt but I used this stuff about 8 years ago on my old 1.2, I had the original sealant on the seams and it looked crÃ*p, got some of this and with a little elbow grease brought it up a treat ;)
