Better oil distribution id say, even the e16se has them

they put them in there so you have something else to damage when removing them.... its a conspiracy dude

Will keep the oil over the cam lobes rather than flicking around the whole inside of the cam cover.

Got me curious now lol asked and people say for oil distribution and to stop oil spraying out the filler

but only a complete tool opens the filler when the engine is running

oil distribution is covered by the oil pump & all the various drillings in the block, head & caps.

I assume its something to do with keeping the oil away from the breathers, so it doesn't end up getting burnt, now all engines come with cats

I am..... the traditional method is pretty successful.... not many people open an oil filler on a running engine twice
