Ive taken it off the clock on mine, 130+ but me thinks that it maybe a little lower some how. Not very reliable clocks. Went over the line at santa pod at 95mph but when i looked at the slip it was only bout 80mph.

The needle points straight down, wenn it hits the limit..

mine winds round and goes off the clock, looks good but its blatantly wrong, seems to stay at an indicated 122 (way off) for a short while then gets a second wind and start accelerating again

ur wrong!!! they go upto 288kmph wotever that is in mph (180?)

however i think 127mph is the top speed of a gte due to the gear ratios and the rev limit!!

I live life in the slow lane

I had 102 out of my SR, which was all it had
So far I've had 96 out of the Saxo and there wasn't much left
I've had the Landy up to 65 I may even hit 70 when I strip and clean the carb. Very Scary

112 near the fuel limit with 3 peeps in the car, still pulling hard

112 in the 1.2 nova - 84 in the 1.3 nova with the problem (kept cutting out at random times) and the clio i have had 115 but kept coming to slight motorway bends and it slowed slightly and couldnt build it up any higher than that.

All of which, are of course subject tot he reliability of the clocks.

The only proven speed i have done was 58mph in a 40 limit where a copper was standing beside a Sheffield City Council van and took a nice picture of me. :(

He shit out at 140............. I just carried on. I knew there were no Feds about.

His face was a picture. I am gonna start taking my digicam out with me and hunting down arse bandits like that for the sheer comedy value.

That was with a full tank of fuel as well

154 on the clocks in the avoN..

I bricked it at that speed anyway... nearly bounced into the central reservation on even the smallest bump.
