I have a standard equal length shaft complete, but was going to change the shafts to the up rated ones I'm unsure weather I need to or would the standard shaft be ok? I'm running less than 300bhp?

Cheers guys

What shafts are they now?

The equal length bit helps with torque steer and spin. Deffo a thing worth doing, dont for get the outer bit needs to be shorter. (unless your buying a ready made one)

At the moment I have just the 300bhp shafts in it with shorter outer joints, but bought a complete equal length shaft standard with the longer outer joints and standard shafts but didn't know if that shaft will be ok to use with out changing them to the up rated shafts?

They'll be strong enough yes. But you'll need the o/s outer shorting.
