fathers day electronics issue!

OK today is the first chance I have to look at the starting ishue. the battery is not charging and the starter motor just makes a faint click. could you guys help with the wires is a 1.6 8v se running peirburg 2e. black dizzy n small coil pack,,,cheers gys:thumb:

Ahh welcome back to nova owenership lol

check your earths remove them clean the thermals and posts little grease when you re fit same with the starter live posts and ault cables start with that should take no time to do that and its a start

Be hard to to wire it wrong with 2 wires lol

well it was wrong... positive on negative and negative on positive, turns over every time now, just got to see if I can get rest of the dials working now. I have just removed the white stickers covering up digital oil pressure and battery dial nothing works...
