Gearbox searching help

Hi guys I was wondering if anybody knew or had a list of the gearbox ratios that were fitted to which cars. I have a list of what ratios are available just not what vehicles they were fitted to. Specifically I'm wanting a F10/5 W453 or a F10/429 and a F13/5 with either c374 c394 numbers and has the 2.24 gears cheers

I've got the 3.74 f15 no f10/5 and not sure about the gear in second would need to strip the top of to check it's from a Gte nova g reg

Ill be honest I'm not sure myself I found a sheet on mig web that's listed all fwd ratios and they were on there. I'm basically trying to make a hybrid box to accel the stockrod I've build round a 400yrd max track. There are loads of 4.1 cwp and 2.16 clusters but i just wanted that bit more.

Note you can't swap any of the 1st to 4th ratios independently.

i did find a great site a few weeks ago that had the cars that the boxes were fitted to, will try and dig it out ..

C374 is standard fit to GTE and GSI nova,

Think most more modern F13's are 374 too but unsure of 2nd gear ratio,

Daftjohn was running a CR374 cluster with a 4.5 gripper diff, EPIC fun!

I have a 4.29:1 CWP if you are looking for one.

Grass track? Bare in mind youll hit the rev limiter much quicker and have lower speed,

I was informed the box on my 1.2 ohv is the most desirable cluster but it's f10/4 not 5 I have no idea yet if this is true

I have a f10 374 but according to the sheet I have it's just a standard gear set I'm pretty new to the oval racing side of things really

All F10's have the same cluster just different diffs,

F10/4 has 3.74 on 1L + 1.2 and later 1L engines has the 3.94 diff,

F10/5 had 418 or 394 depending on engine and year

No it stockrod on oval circuit probs two 20-30m straights and the two corners

Ah, all good then,

Nova wise the 14nv, c14nz used the c394 box,

The C14se used a wb not cr box

Both the E16 and C16se engines used the c374 box

Easist option is c374 cluster in F13 with 4.18 cwp, if you can get a higher one then all the better

Thats great just need to find the 4.29 2nd gear cluster I think it's cr f15 boxes

I've just bought a F13 and the 2nd gear seems to be 21/45 teeth does that sound about right

You divide the large number by the small one so I believe

Thats what i did but theres no ref in the haynes or anywhere about that ratio so I'm going with Stuart and Haynes that the one I have is one i need. I Just bought a 4.1 the other day mate I was looking for a 4.29 next but there's loads of them in boxes in eBay for around £80
