Wouldn't have thought so as the F15 is a smallblock gearbox, the ecotec is bigblock.

I thought they do actually fit but the flywheel was the issue on C20XEs but as the X20XE has a 6 bolt flywheel that maybe I could use the X16XE item to match the box. Again, I dont know hence the thread.

You can run an f17 I have one fitted to my x20xev and to my x18xe1 I found out today

i had an f13 on the x20xev first but it detonated in great fashion so it is possable but not sure what the setup is I got it with the f13 and fitted the f17 to it after the little problem

I just found that link on Google. Lol, cheers bud. The problem with the F17 is the shafts, do they use big or small block shafts, if im right they dont fit small block hubs.

I've got 2 here I think both hydroloic clutch you can convert them to cable ones the fork and arm from cable clutch fit only think is to make a bracket for the cable to fit through

The problem is the fact that I live on a different island. Lol. Looks like I need an f17 or a scrapped Derv Astra. Thanks lads.

No for the flywheel mate. Lol

Its all a cheap alternative to trying to pull 140bhp out of a 1600.
