Engine trouble

Hi I have a mk2 nova 1.2i I changed the water pump,cambelt,alternator belt and thermostat and when I drive the car and accelerate it hesitates and take a while for it to accelerate and go faster any suggestions what is causing this

sounds like timing's possibly out.

re-check the cam and crank timing marks to see if its in synch.

The timing is fine Becuase it idles and revs fine it just takes a long time to rev and it hesitates and fuel sputters out the butterfly when I keep my foot down

if not, maybe a vacuum hose got knocked off or nicked/kinked/split while you were working.

check any connectors you removed are back in securely, and they dont have any corrosion on the pins.

did you touch the alternator earth strap at all whilst changing the belt ?

are the plug leads on secure, and in the right order ? (ive put them on the wrong way once before, and the car started, but spat fuel/flames out the carb, lol)

you got a timing gun to check & set the timing properly ?
