how easy is it to wire in the barrel type ignition coil to a 1.2 carb loom? just swapped out my 1.2 for a 1.3 on weber carb with the bosch dizzy and the coil for the dizzy has to be the barrel type one

you mean pin drive in place of the old slot drive ?

fairly simple if so, you use the black wire going to the old coil for the (switched live) black wire on the new dizzy, and youll probably have to attach the earth wire (brown) to somewhere decent on the body.

the green wire is for the rev counter, if you have one

from memory, attached to the new coil, you should have a little amplifier thingy underneath the coil, with a mini loom multi-plug that connects to the dizzy.

its best to turn the engine over by hand untill the timing marks are lined up before you switch the dizzy's, then you can get everything timed right, as its possible to install it 180 degrees out if your not careful
