Car picked up this morning for wheel bearing replacement. Mechanic messages me now saying he has the wrong bearing and won't get the correct one til Monday. I now have to use the ****ing train on Sunday to travel north!!!!!

I called a handful, they all stock the 66mm and don't have the 64mm. I can't remember the last time I wasn't let down by a garage - serves me right for being too lazy to do it myself!!!

Euro car parts stock them front and rear - Quadrum Park on the Old Portsmouth Rd

Camberley Auto Factors at Merrow will also have them on the shelf.

I called them and they only had the 66mm ones not 64mm. I am more annoyed at the fact that when he drops my car off on Monday sometime I will not be there and the car will be sat on the road for the week.

Sadly the way of the world, I've been let down by far too many garages over the years due to me not having the facilities of doing any mechanical work myself.

Hope it pans out okay for you, I hate public transport :(
