I'm after snap ring / lock ring / wire ring pliers, these are NOT your usual circlip pliers, they are flat tipped with dimples in (some types) to seat the end of a plain external clip.

I cant find anything in the UK for less than £50, and not from the usual suspects like sealy/draper/clarke... Would anyone working "in the trade2 be able to find somewhere that does? Happy to pay upto £25 or maybe £30 but over £50 and usually from the USA is no deal imho.

They arnt the best tho, and the spring wants to come off...

I have Lazer ones listed too... £14.95+vat but they are out of stock, has 6 ends too... (part number 5064)

Whilst i agree that its lovely to buy the correct tool for the job, sometimes you just have to compromise.

buy some needle nose pliers, chop-em, grind-em, heat-em and dip-em in water.

if done properly will do the same job for about £4 and minimal faff.

They also have 'insulated handles' and look rather sporty. Would compliment anyones toolbox or plier collection.

The tips are 'smooth on the inside' for his pleasure
