Coilovers and 17s

Anyone ran coilovers with 17s I'm currently on koni dampers and springs but thinking about coilovers, ( mainly for the rear want it lower), but have heard of problems with 7j wheels and mine are 17in with et49 and 7j so looking for people's experience on coilovers and clearance as no point spending a load on coilovers if the wheels won't fit, if the clearance is a problem I'll just call coil spring in Sheffield and get some custom springs but there dear shame the other bloke on here stoped making them

Rich i had some made up at coilsprings in sheff they were standard nova rears wound down to 80mm an repainted they were £40 iirc.

Isn't yours a saloon? I don't know if the inner arches are exactly the same as a hatchback, but if they are you're diving into an world of fine tolerances.

If you're serious about doing this then cut the whole lot out & extend the beam. Then you just have the exhaust to think about.

It's a van now the saloon is getting scrapped
