i had a fucking awesome quote yesterday. im paying ?1300 for my 1.4sri and it would have been more if i hadn't already got 4 onths of the insurance paid offon another car b4 i got my nova.and i thought that was good.
i was wondering what a 2ltr would b because i read on here that someone the same age as me (20) and have the same number of ncb as me ( 1 year) and he got his 2ltr 16v insurance for ?1300. so i thought bastard im paying that for a 1.4sri. so i gave adrian flux a ring.and they gve me a beautiful quote.

im 20
i have 1 years no claims bonus
i dont smoke
i kep my car on a side road
i ave an sp40 ( ?60 fine an 3 points) recieved 2 years ago
i have a cat 1 cobra alarm with immob and stearing lock
i have alloys, and a few other tsty bits
and they gav me a quote fr a 2ltr 16v at ?1065 third prty fire and theft
and ?1500 fully comp.

thats fucking better than my 1.4sri insurance. so i think il be dropping a 2ltr in very soon then!
so any of u out there who want a big engine conversion give adrian flux a ring out of max power and other mags. they rule.

jus do me a fav though and drive sensible'ish or they will have loads of people crashing and our insurance will go up! now dont be scared and give them ring

i had a 1.4i, i was insured for ?600ish fully comp with liverpool victoria. I went down to JUST NOVAS and got a 2lr 16v turbo conversion.

Rung up liverpool victoria and they didnt want to know, they just said yeah ok, send the enginers certificate, and that wa that. no increase, nothing. oh BTW wait untill you are over 21 before you get a 2l, cos most will tell you to fcuk off

One company wanted ?2500 for a standard 1.2 nova.

I was paying ?2000 fully comp with direct line 1.2 told them wot mods were done 3 months in to the policey and they decided to cancel it cause i was to younger to drive a modified car (17) and still took the money out of my account for a further 3 months and wouldn't pay it back!!!!!

Now DL want ?1300 for a standard 1.2 fully comp 0y ncd.

I tried Hyperformance insurance advertished on the back of fast ford mag and still waiting to hear from them about a 1.6, 1.8 or 2.0 conversion.

I've Just been on the LV site and on the agreement it says

Your vehicle does not have any performance enhancing modifications.

So whats goin on do they or don't they insure modified cars???????

And then they quoted me
[quote]

Your motor insurance could be between:

?1051.12 - ?1161.76*

1.2 standard. Cheapest quote i've had so far.
