Mantzel power box problems

Hi everyone iv just fitted a mantzel power box to my x16xe and dosent seem to be running very well it feels slower than with standard inlet its really boggy down low end revs and only seems to go well at 5000rmp it idle's fine and no engine managment light just loss of power down low and no noticable gains from it any help would be great thanks mat

Is the part brand new? Is it a genuine Mantzel? Where did you get it from?

Check for air leaks first, what have you sealed the Mantzel down with?

What was the car running like before?

Double check your plugs to see it it's running richer, they'll look more black if so.

iirc the EGR connects up to the plenum, have you connected it up? As mentioned above, is there any air leaks? Spray brake cleaner around the plenum and see if the revs rise.
I ran different plugs on my Corsa Sport when I fitted the Mantzel Powerbox, I think I used E46 318i plugs.
