I'm trying to revive the love of peoples Novas, we need more updates from you lot as they're plenty of Novas out there ;)

I miss the days when people would all meet up at one house in their novas and hatchbacks and rush to fit sunstrips, new sets of wrong offset wheels, repaint bumpers matt black ready for the bank holiday meets where the roads would be full of thousands of cheaply done up cars all there to have a laugh :(

Now it's just work, save and see a few brand new fiestas hanging out at McDonalds.

I cleaned my car every single day without fail lol Rain or night, whenever. We would drive to the meets and go to a local jet wash before going to the car park ha. Proper miss the old meets, motorway would have a convoy of 1000 cars, was ace!

Rochdale was good but always full of cops. May bank holiday was Southport parked on the beach, now they were the days!

Once I've finished a few other jobs, I'll be preparing my Sport for a Car Show on Monday, not sure what it will be like, but think it will be a bit Special:d, Iwill post pics next week!

Unfortunately I will be trailering her there as my MOT is booked for next Friday:(, and will hopefully tax 1st of June!;)

Rochdale was good but always full of cops. May bank holiday was Southport parked on the beach, now they were the days!
Sadly all the small cruises got quashed, I used to go to the Wakefield cruise back in the day, always plenty of cars ragging around near the M62 but sadly too many giddy kippers spoilt the day... thus getting it shut down :(

Think I went Wakefield a few times. Was only a massive car park split in 2 iirc and was packed.

Bolton cruise every Thursday was another good one but then got out of hand when we had to move across the road and was downhill from then.

It's a shame the younger drivers have missed it all. I don't care what anybody says, bodykits made the scene busy and was always good to check what people have done to their cars, I wish they were still the 'in' thing to do.

Ive finally got my car road legal after 15 years off the road, I took it to a local car show last week was hoping to take it out for a drive this weekend but not looking good due to rain.

I just need to find a decent painter now and get get it done.

there is a local Peugeot/Talbot meet most weekends in Hinckley... or to be more precise, the lad over the road & 4 doors up & his mates are always tinkering with something.. he has a decent 4 door Hillman Avenger, so I can't complain too much.. but the massively lowered 106 with the cherry bomb is a bit of an ear splitter when it fires up..

the Hinckley cruise still exists.... but its now a group of people in a huddle in the morrisons car park having rev limiter competitions...

iv give the nova some love
iv changed the air filter.
Tested the spare ecu iv just bought-all good.
I sprayed the filter with special oil.
fired it up,found a hole in my centre pipe so thats summat else to add to the to do list.
Then i shut the door and cracked a can lol
