Try a diff one off the other car but it could be pressure in the block or to much oil ?

Don't think it's pressure, I mite of overfilled it slightly as it is dry fill got another cap to try tomorrow
Seals on the caps fail with age..
Though it could be a breathing issue or pressure in the crankcase as has been suggested...

I've just rebuild it with new rings rehoned bores so would there be a bit more pressure than normal if rings haven't bedded in yet
did you clean out the breather?

Yep, before when rebuild the oil breather filter used to smoke it's tits off now it's fine no heavy breathing smoke
I'd go with the seal.
You can change the seals, you can by new ones from Halfords and swap the seals or just fit another one from a scrappy...
