did anyone else find that the base plates didnt fit perfectly, mine go slightly over the quarter window and you can see the screws which hold the mirrors to the base plate from the inside of the car, is this normal or did i get given the wrong base plates. On the label for the plates it said vauxhall corsa 1985 to 1992

yeah mine are like that aswell, looks ok from the outside though, it said corsa coz novas were called 'Corsa A's' on the contanent, so it just means that ur base plates were made sumwhere in europe.

most aftermarket mirrors do this

dtm do as well, very annoying imo

the only ones i like are cut down nova mirrors but u cant get them very easily at all ;)

I have the same problem. Although I haven't got round to it I'm going to stick some vinyl to the inside of the glass to cover the gap. If it's done properly it'll look like it's supossed to be there.
