9 pin ecu plug - blue temp wire

where is this wire supposed to go exactly ? im confused

does it go to the temp. sensor in the inlet, or to the dash clocks ? (or are they both 1 and the same thing)

so the ecu side blue, aswel as the engine side blue BOTH go to the clock dial wire ?
