My temp gauge is constantly past red, I've tried spinning it back round but doesn't work, any suggestion? When ignition is on it nearly points at 4oclock
have you tried changing the sender?

You checked the printed circuit board on the back?

sounds like a short to earth.
Have you pulled the needle off and set back at the right place?

TD clocks mate, with rev counter, same as sri?

pulled at it, but didn't seen to want to come off
you have to be careful pulling it off but before that, see where it rests when it is switched off. There should be a small white mark before the resting bit (the small pole that sticks out where the gauge sits at minimum. If you can gently (they snap easily)place the needle before that resting bit, it shoudl sit at the white notch with the ignition on or off when the car is cold. Hope this helps.
