Rebadging the boot

need to put the badges back on my boot after i debadged it last year.
what's the best way to do it? is there a sort of sticky back adhesive you can get similar to what was originally used?

Decent double sided rubber tape is good enough, basically what they stick number plates on with.

wont it show underneath the badge though. as in.. will it need to be cut to match the shape of the badge?
