View Full Version : Gear linkage.
Adjusted the linkage using drill bit method and sometimes I can and other's I can't get reverse. Would eBay item: 360926956540 (tel:360926956540) sort it? If not, where can I get a bush replacement kit?
it sounds like you need another go with the adjustment, sometimes it takes a couple of goes to sort it, but the bush kit would help tighten things up.
I've had another try, but still the same. Ordered those bushes from eBay... Will report back if they fix it.

have you get the adjustable rod too? worth it
Took the linkage off and there's a rubber seal that has perished and bits missing causing the sloppy gear change and not selecting reverse.

You can get a Nylon bush set off eBay, what I'm running in mine with the adjustable rod too. Takes all the play out
The item no. Is in the first post Lewis.
What adjustable rod millworm?

Slop is not what any man wants.
Is that a new red nova Tony?
Yes, had it about 3 years. Got a 16XE going in over winter.

Have a look in there, can be bought on eBay http://www.pngclub.com/forum/showthread.php?204594-2dr-Nova-Saloon/page4
It's fixed it and feels 10x better than any of the nova's I've owned.
